Hoollow is an early-stage product company built by and for builders. We are moving fast, shipping constantly, and generating a lot of video content along the way. We need someone who lives and breathes social media to help us amplify our story. As a Video Clipper, you will be the engine behind our short-form content machine. You will take our raw footage, podcasts, and product demos, and transform them into engaging clips optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This is a hands-on role where your creative instincts directly impact our growth.
What you'll do
- Review long-form video content to identify the most engaging and shareable moments.
- Edit and clip videos into high-quality, short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Add captions, effects, and transitions to maximize viewer retention and engagement.
- Maintain a high-volume publishing schedule to push mass content across platforms.
- Monitor social media trends and apply them to our clipping strategy.
- Organize and manage a library of raw footage and finished assets.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience editing short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and what makes a video go viral.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut.
- Ability to work quickly and produce a high volume of content without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent communication skills and an ear for catchy soundbites.
Bonus points
- Previous experience growing a social media account from scratch.
- Familiarity with the tech and startup ecosystem.
- Basic graphic design skills for creating thumbnails.
